How much does bounce rate and average time on site affect rankings?

Google’s Matt Cutts stated that this is NOT part of the algorithm yet… hints  the word ‘yet‘ but we are seeing some some evidence of it now… I will release more about this later.

I think it would only be possible if the site had analytics. How else is google going to track these detailed stats.

I don’t think this will come into play.

Just my thoughts. Interesting tho.

Thanks for the comment. Your website doesn’t need to have analytic s installed to determine these factors. There are many other ways to tell bounce rates, average time on sites etc without having anything installed.
