It is time to be social! This is a pill that may be hard to swallow for many people, especially business owners. But the truth is people now days share everything through the Internet. They often run to social networking websites like Facebook or Tweeter among many others, to share life experiences, pictures, important events, or even their where about in seconds. And if you would like a successful Internet promotion strategy that is exactly what you will have to do. In the Denver marketing world I have seen it happen several times where clients refuse to use these tools without realizing how much it hurts them. I have also seen situations where people overdue it. They open several Facebook pages for the same business, hoping to reach out to a bigger audience. A fake account is very easy to identify since they have fewer reliable friends and therefore less people that would repost or share their stuff. This is a strategy that not only is not beneficial but also hurtful. The Search engine robots are looking for more than just links, they are looking for reliable links. They are looking for social pages with good reputation. Your Social Media page should be treated with the same respect and effort as your website. When people fallow you on Tweeter or are fans of your Facebook page they will share your information, promotions, special offers, etc. These “shares” are considered Links to the Search Engine robots. The more other people are sharing your link or repost for you, the more this will attract the bots, building credibility for you website and links. Keep your social media campaign fresh and innovative. Keep follower’s informed about what you are doing without always selling. Write blogs or articles to keep them informed without putting a product in front of their face. Do these things and people will keep following you, they will repost and re tweet and that’s when you know you have accomplished your goal. Contact your Denver SEO company for more information on how to establish a successful social media campaign.

Without Internet presence now days, it is almost impossible to survive and business owners are slowly realizing that. There are a few ways to promote your business online and to establish a strong Internet presence. One of those methods is SEO or Search Engine Optimization. This could be a very powerful tool when used correctly and there are many factors in play that we have to consider in order for it to accomplish its purpose. Being in the Denver marketing scene for sometime now, I have come to the realization that is no single factor can guarantee search engine rankings. Having many links will not help id they are not good quality links. Having a great HTML title won’t help if content is very low quality. But having several positive factors can increase the odds of success; as well as negative factors can decrease those odds. On The Page factors are those that are you as the publisher are in complete control of. What type of content do you publish? Are you providing important HTML clues that help search engines determine how relevant your content is? Does the architecture of your website hinder or help search engines?

Off The Page Factors are those that the publisher cannot control. A couple examples of these factors would be Reputation and Authority. Search engine figured out long ago that the On The Page factor are not enough to determine relevancy and more information was needed. And last but not we have Violations. Search Engines want and encourage people to perform Search Engine Optimization; they even provide techniques for people to do so. However there are some techniques they consider or call “black hat” or “spam,” acts that if you perform could result in your pages getting a ranking penalty or even worse, being banned from search engines all together! These are some of the factor that could greatly affect your rankings for good or bad. If you are curious to know more, consult you Denver SEO company.

In this new era, where we rely completely on technology, it is very important to remember that potential clients are not only searching at home from their computers, but now there are plenty of methods to search for topics, on the go, like smart phones and tablets. To have a “search engine friendly” website is the first step as your preparing or already have hired a Denver marketing company to do Search Engine Optimization for you, but very soon it is going to be just as important to have a mobile device friendly website as well. In December of 2010, Google added smart phone volume to the AdWords keyword tool. So for a year now, marketers have had the ability to do keyword research and write content specifically for mobile or smart phone users. This allows companies not only to have traffic re directed to their websites from home searchers but also from potential clients on the go. So what does this mean for Search Engine Optimization companies? It means that, just as technology advances and we keep moving forward into a world where answers are needed fats and accurately, we need to keep up and adapt to this changes to be successful. Of course there is the ongoing battle between Mobile Web and Mobile Apps and the fact remains marketers who only optimize for one platform miss out on the other. And since we’re talking about mobile search, the primary way to reach mobile searchers who aren’t putting in app queries is still by optimizing mobile sites. The bottom line is, regardless of what market you are working with Mobile optimization is going to be as important as any other tool. Markets like Denver and Phoenix have already adapted these strategies and that is a great place to start if you are looking for SEO. Try the Denver SEO market, I can assure you will not be disappointed.

I have been thinking of starting a travel blog for a long time now. Over the past 2 and a half years, I’ve been to some amazing places, met some awesome people, and tried some extraordinary things! I have thousands of pictures, and really nowhere to put them all. I have thought about the use of them in a blog, and wondering if with the knowledge of the Denver Marketing, and blog writing, wordpress, and the internet in general would be enough to make it a blog people ACTUALLY would read. Then my friend Lauren approached me. She is a great friend from college, and a fellow vagabond like myself. She recently returned from a year in Australia (we lived there together in college, and she never lost the bug), and was planning on coming back to the states for a few months to “re-up on money”, and head back… Only this time to New Zealand! She asked if I would help her build a blog that was easy to manage, update and load with tons of new pictures with minimal blog writing experience. Yes Lauren, yes I will. We set up a wordpress blog with only a few pages, and kept everything extremely simple. We researched some key words that would help the SEO and the google placement. Within 1 month, Lauren is a blog writing, photo uploading, information changing pro. We have used some of the things I have learned through my research of Denver SEO, and some of the tips, and tricks I have picked up over the years. Lauren’s blog is very successful now. She has over 5,000 readers hanging on her every whim, just waiting to hear what this crazy vagabond of a girl is doing.

So it got me to thinking, why I don’t I start my own? I’ve traveled to so many amazing countries, had some amazing experiences that it SHOULD be documented. For instance, I was going through my photos the other day, and saw some from this amazing party in Copenhagen, Denmark that my friends and I went to in November of 2010, and Moscow from November of 2010 also. Living in London for the past year has been amazing, and the people and experiences I have had. Wow. So my thoughts writing this, is create another facebook album, or just suck it up, and start an amazing blog? Maybe when I start traveling like a vagabond again will I do this, for now maybe I will just get a flixter account!

So… exactly how important is site load speed? Very important.

This week we spent hours dissecting Sean Hakes.com and found things like “StatCounter” severally slowed down our website, not to mention plugins like W3 Total Cache (which is supposed to have the opposite effect) among other things. Since we implemented the changes we’ve been able to drastically reduce our overall page load to just over 8 seconds, and that’s just the beginning…

We’ll be releasing the full case study of our own in-house project soon.

How are you using social media?

Many businesses only use social media when they want to release a coupon or special engagement. However, releasing too many of these coupons and trying to force customers to come in and buy items they do not really want or need can result in just annoying whoever is following you. It is a much better strategy to consider what information people may want from your company. If your company is attending a networking convention or even a charity event people may want more information than simply a coupon to spend.

What is the biggest challenge you have?

Challenges can range from not having enough followers to not having enough content on your page. Being able to identify exactly what you need to work on to build your social media site can help to develop a solution. Whether that is assigning someone to update it everyday or simply advertising that you have the site so more people join.

What you are trying to accomplish?

If you want to bring people to your Facebook or Twitter page so that they learn more about your actual company and drive them towards your website or if you are simply trying to create revenue through promotions it is important to know what you biggest goal is. A primary goal should be easy information about your company if a site is too complicated it can turn people away from the site rather than draw them in. Denver SEO companies can help to make sure you accomplish your goals of making your website seen so that your social media site gets seen as well.

Who is your customer?

It is important to keep in mind who exactly your target customer base is and therefore keep the promotions relevant to that age group. Teenagers are not going to be interested in retirement plans while adults probably will not be interested in what happened on Jersey Shore last night. Keeping the information relevant to the target age group will ensure they keep coming back for more information.

How is your business currently being marketed?

Consider all the options that might be bringing people to your social media site. It is very easy to put the social media URLs with advertising adds. Denver marketing can easily help to build an online presence for you business as well and incorporate your social media URLS as well.

As you can see from our media kits we represent both national and local clients. Typical results for our clients is to get them in 3-6 months into one of the top three positions and maintain them in those top positions over the long term. Because of that, SEO Denver only take three clients in each category. I believe we have just taken on a new firm in your category (elder law, estate law, etc) and there are only two left.

Here is what we do for your firm:

• Keyword Research We work with you to develop a profile for the types of clients that you want in your practice. We then help you choose and prioritize keywords that will produce those clients in sufficient numbers to make our collaboration very profitable for you.

• Meta keyword and coding mark up/optimization These are the on-page visible and invisible coding, placement and keyword strategies that we employ to bring you the right kind of clients in sufficient numbers and to help you convert those visitors to clients.

• Social Media Reference Development Denver SEO work on your behalf to gain what Google calls relevance and authority from outside sources in the Social Media World, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others. Increasingly that also means Google’s own social media and cooperating platforms.

• Strategic Link Development We promote, foster and place links from other sources to your website to gain what is called authority by Google. The efficacy and ethics involved with this directly change your results. We are masters at effectively promoting your firm and know how to keep your results coming in without getting “slapped”, “banned” or “blacklisted” by the search engines for using unethical “blackhat” magic strategies. We only use ethical “whitehat” strategies.

• Bookmarking & Directory Services We make sure that you are listed in as many places as possible that are appropriate for your firm, from Google, Yahoo and Bing to services like Foursquare and Citysearch, from large databases like INFOUSA, to Dunn and Bradstreet and other smaller databases, from sites like Mapquest to the Magellans, TomToms and automobile factory GPS listings of the world and hundreds more you wouldn’t think of. Each of these listings makes your credibility (and score) with Google, Bing and Yahoo and the others go up and your visibility with the public increases.

• Google Place Listing and Optimization We implement four strategies with your Google Place listing that synergistically raises your score with both Google Places and your organic SEO listings:

We make sure your listing is properly claimed, completely filled out, worded and optimized so that it is more visible and supports the score of your organic listing and the Google Place listing.

The bookmarking and directory services through our actions as listed above list your firm with its specialties and personalities noted in the Google Place listing, the other search engines and in the organic Google listing. Google calls these “certifications” and they enhance your firm’s authority, relevance and rank. In Google Place and your SEO ranking.

We show you how to gather, support and foster reviews that are appropriate for your firm and propagate them to raise your Google Place ranking.

We link and cross-link your Google Place listing with your website to synergistically raise your rank in both the Google Place listing and the organic SEO listing.

All of these strategies also raise your visibility and ranking in the other search engines like Yahoo, Bing, Ask etc. Their algorithms mimic Google and raising your Google ranking generally raises the ranking for them also.

The simplest answer is results. The best ROI comes from being in the top three places in each keyword. We can help you get better and higher results.

We would work over time to raise your ranking in those keywords and to implement more profitable keywords that apply to your practice.

On the two keyword searches that you rank on page one, let’s say today your firm is at 5th and 6th on both pages. We generally can help you move up in rankings. Also, based on the analysis of the keywords you are using, we can make sure you do better. For example, your website is targeting “family lawyer”. By targeting “family law”, instead, you can get about three times the traffic for that keyword at the same competition level. Your current SEO strategies bypass higher traffic, more profitable keywords and employ lower traffic, less profitable keywords.

One word of caution. If you are using your own computers to do searches in your fields without proper “masking”, you are likely to get inaccurate, skewed results that don’t reflect the real situation. Many of our potential clients fall into this sneaky trap.

As part of our firm’s commitment to quality, we keep up to date on what Google and the others are doing on a daily basis. Your current provider could be behind. For example, your website has a meta tag for “keywords”. That means your provider doesn’t know that meta tag will ignored by Google’s bots and under certain circumstances could hurt you.

We are your best shot at getting into the top three rankings. We maintain that ranking in our own category. Google “SEO Denver” or “Denver SEO” or “Marketing Denver”, or “Denver Marketing” and you will see we are generally at the top. We walk the talk. Where does your current provider rank?

Results Page saturation. Why wouldn’t you do it?

Google calls it that “Zero Moment of Truth”. In the context of searching online, it means when consumers put in a keyword and hit enter. They come to that result page and as a business, you want to be there, probably right at the top. As far as Denver marketing goes have you ever thought about how many times you can appear on those results pages? Out of a couple dozen clickable links on the page, how many can lead back to you? And what are the possible places you could expand into?

Here is a breakdown of the main ways you can appear on a result page:

Organic Web Pages – The typical webpage results that you see, showing the websites title and meta description (or content from the site). These run below the pay per click ads, and depending on the search will appear below maps and product listings. Often times when Google deems it relevant to the query, you can have additional internal links appear below, as well as multiple links showing categories on the site.

Traditional Pay-Per-Click Ads – Most searches will have 3 results at the top and then to the right of the results, an additional vertical of ads. With added site extensions, these ads can include a physical address, phone number, product listings, social link, and additional links from the site. Another listing that falls in this area are product listing ads, which show up in the right vertical of results and pulls data from a Google Merchant Feed.

Map Locations (including Adwords Express) – Depending on the query, Google may show a map with results in your area. Your location is based on you server, or what you assign as your location on the left side. Adwords Express ads are playing a bigger part in search as they show up both in the map, and also in Traditional Pay-Per-Click verticals, as well as in Map text verticals.

Product Listing Ads – If you sell products on line, you can create a Product Feed and upload to Google Merchant Center. These results typically pop up above or within the Organic Web Page results section.

Lead Gen./Affiliate Sites – These are basically other webpages that show up in any of the areas above which link to a third party site, which in turn links to your site. You will typically pay a commission or cost per lead amount to have other companies do the work.

News and Social Media (including Google Plus) – Depending on the topic, Google may serve real time, or news results. Social Media is also becoming a big contender especially with Google+ If you are logged in while searching and some one you are connected to via Google+has “like” or posted info relating to your query, you could see their result dominate your page. I would also throw image results and video results into this category. Both can appear in the Organic Web Page area.

Think about it in terms of saturation. If you could appear on the results page 7 times, wouldn’t you do it? Of course you would and if you are looking for a great Denver SEO company, JEMSU™ can help!
