Early on in the days of video marketing popularity, short commercials were a great tactic to get a companies message heard in a short and concise manner. Today’s video landscape has changed, specifically with how consumers want to be marketed to. Less invasive ‘short films’ or infomercials are becoming more popular while native, traditional ads are being skipped.
Take a look at this 2:00 ‘infomercial’ I did for a Castle Rock based auto repair shop. Traditionally, videos over 30 – 60 secs had really no impact however; if the video is done right, its informational, and fun – full length views are not uncommon.
